5 Ways To Get the Most Out of A Grand Design Rally!

Grand Design owner rallies are a great way to meet fellow members of the Grand Design family and share your passion for travel, adventure and the brand. They offer a unique opportunity to explore new destinations, participate in fun activities, and learn new skills. Here are 5 tips to help you get the most out of the Grand Design Texas Fall 2023 rally or any other rally for that matter:

  • Plan Ahead: Before you attend an RV rally, make sure to do your research and plan ahead. Review the event schedule and identify the activities and seminars that interest you the most. A great question to ask yourself is … “what to I want to get out of this rally”? Ask yourself … “is there something I need to learn about the maintenance, care and upkeep of my rig”? Ask yourself … “is there someone in particular I have seen online that I want to make sure and meet personally at this rally”?
  • Be Social: One of the best things about our Grand Design rallies is the opportunity to connect with other Grand Design owners, and in particular, owners with the same model as you. Take the time to meet new people and strike up conversations with fellow attendees. Attend social events and group activities, such as potlucks, games, workshops, demonstrations and fun events, to get to know other attendees. Be sure and start connecting right away by joining in the Grand Design Texas Fall Rally 2023 Facebook group!
  • Attend Seminars and Workshops: Grand Design rallies offer educational seminars, demonstrations and workshops on a variety of topics, such as RV maintenance, cooking, and travel tips. Attend as many of these sessions as possible to learn new skills and meet experts in the RV community. A big plus to our rallies is that we always have Grand Design techs on hand! Pro Tip: If the techs are doing a workshop show up! You will get the very best repair and maintenance info from these experienced service professionals!
  • Come Early and Stay Late: If your travel schedule permits consider coming early and stay late to your next Grand Design rally! There are a lot of friendly connections made in the days leading up to and following a rally when things are at a much slower pace than during the rally itself. Before the rally you are likely to find the rally leadership team already there and after the rally you are likely to find other attendees hanging out for a couple of days. You will enjoy the extra time … we guarantee it!
  • Get Involved and Give Back: Volunteering your time and resources is a great way to make a positive impact and meet like-minded people who share your values. There are always opportunities to volunteer at a rally from lending a hand where needed all of the way up to being a part of the rally core leadership team! Nothing will make your rally experience more valuable than knowing you played a part in helping make the event special for others!

Attending a Grand Design rally is a great way to meet new folks, learn new things about the Grand Design product(s) itself and/or the RV lifestyle as well as have a lot of fun! While these tips can help the bonus tip is this: You decide what would make for a great rally for you! If you like to go, go, go then do that! If you want to relax and just take in a little of the rally then do that! Whatever would make this a win for you … you do that!

We hope to see and meet you at the Grand Design Texas Fall Rally 2023!
