Who are we? Why are we here? And … why should you care?

First, who are we? We are Jim & Christie Jacobus! We live full time in our Grand Design Momentum 399TH where we spend about a third of our time in South Texas near Christie’s family, a third of the year near Dallas Ft Worth where our kids and grandkids live and about a third of the year on the road seeing this fabulous country we live in and meeting amazing people everywhere we go!

Second, why are we here? Since we made the decision to go full time in a RV around the middle of 2019 we have answered 100’s of questions about what being full time is really like. We love talking about the many aspects of this incredible lifestyle as well as questions about how we decided to do it, how did we go about doing it and what would we do differently if we did it over again! So, we thought we might as well start a website, blog, YouTube channel (maybe) and share what we have learned!

And third, perhaps most important, why should you care? We think that is easy to answer! Whether you tent camp, camp in a Class A, Class B or Class C, a bumper travel trailer or in a fifth wheel like us you are part of an amazing community with great stories to share, questions to be answered and dreams that may need encouragement … we are here for you!

Also, if you are a weekend camper that only gets to go every so often (or a lot), someone that makes a long haul every now and then or maybe, just maybe you are all of the above and you have an eye on what it would take to live full time in a RV. We know you also have great stories to share, questions to be asked and dreams that may need encouragement … we are here for all of the above!

So, we trust you will enjoy the content here in the website! As we write this we can’t exactly tell you what direction this is going to take other than we are going to have fun sharing with you our experiences, what we have learned, how we go about doing it day to day and anything else we can think of that you might enjoy as well as learn from!
